A Grandmother's Life...

Poetry by Langston Hughes
I rediscovered this poem today.
Dreams
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
Langston Hughes

My Great Gram...
My great gram was my saving grace. She held me when I cried. She laughed with me when I laughed. She soothed me through all of life's ups and downs. She taught me how to be a grandmother. I'll love her for always.
